Mr. Feeney graduated cum laude from Fordham University School of Law in 1995, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif for his high academic achievements in the study of law. After graduating, he worked in the Division of Enforcement in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, prosecuting violators of the federal securities laws, and thereafter was an associate with the prestigious firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, practicing in the field of complex commercial and securities litigation. Subsequent to that, Mr. Feeney practiced commercial litigation and real estate law with the firm of Ingram Yuzek Carroll & Bertolotti, LLP, before leaving to start his own practice in 2003. Mr. Feeney has been quoted in such prominent publications as The New York Times, Details, New York Magazine, and The New York Law Journal. He previously co-hosted the weekly real estate program Eye On Real Estate for over a decade, providing expert legal commentary on the NYC real estate market. He was also the real estate law columnist for the New York Daily News online real estate edition. He regularly teaches and lectures on 1031 exchange, and is licensed by the New York State Department of State to teach continuing education courses to licensed brokers and agents. He has offices in Manhattan, Bridgehampton and Warwick.
Tysha Johnston has been an exchange coordinator with e1031xchange for the past 3 years. During that time she has helped to successfully initiate and close over 1,000 1031 exchange transactions and has received a multitude of outstanding online reviews from satisfied clients. She graduated cum laude from Colorado State University of Pueblo in 2017, where she was consistently on the dean’s list at the University’s Hasan School of Business. After graduation she worked in the nonprofit sector as a client service coordinator, overseeing the allocation and the administration of federal and state government benefits and financial assistance programs. Since joining the e1031xchange team in 2019 she has facilitated hundreds of millions of dollars in exchange proceeds and regularly helps guide clients through the sometimes complex exchange process, and plays a key role in the day to day operations for the company.

Before joining our team he worked in B2B sales generation and as an account executive before joining our team in 2020. With a background in Psychology and Sociology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Adryen Proctor is a lover of travel, food, R&B music, and superheroes. Yes, Marvel is King. Hailing from the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area, raised in North Carolina, and a recent transplant to New York from California, Proctor has been a nomad all his life. Living in new locations and being able to make new connections has always been something that came naturally, and he looks forward to making new ones here in New York. He is currently an Administrative Assistant for e1031xchange creating e-mails and documents for the company’s various nationwide clients. Proctor has additional ambitions of getting back into Psychology with a focus on queer people of color working to encourage this marginalized population to live their best and authentic selves while coping with everyday micro-aggressions.
Benjamin graduated from Stetson University with a degree in music education. He has an extensive background in education, arts administration and the performing arts. While at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, he was a member of the Mock Trial and Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Teams. He clerked with the San Diego Public Defender’s Felony Division and worked with the Veteran’s Legal Assistance Clinic; obtaining a favorable ruling in the San Diego Family Court. Prior to joining the team in 2015, Benjamin was at Sanzo Law in San Diego, California where he handled business transactions, civil litigation and family law matters.
Daniel is a diversely skilled professional who has experience working with Fortune 500 companies as well as small businesses. Along with graduating with honors from Pace University, throughout his career he has obtained Life & Health insurance licenses, PMI Certificate Associate in Project Management, become a NYS notary public and Certified Exchange Specialist (CES). The CES certification exam evaluates candidates’ understanding of various exchange-related subjects, testing their familiarity with exchange rules and their proficiency in executing the key responsibilities of an exchange facilitator company. Daniel joined e1031xchnage in 2016 as a 1031 exchange assistant. He later went on to a paralegal role with Jerry Feeney P.C.. As a paralegal he coordinated with involved parties to clear title and move the transaction to closing. He also acted as a bank closer. After 2 years Daniel returned to e1031xchange to manage operations and sales, and together with a great team has built the company into the nation’s leading provider of 1031 exchange intermediary services.
